This website holds details of classes and activities available to puppies and older dogs and their families in and around Salisbury, Wiltshire.

All classes are small, all training methods are positive and are run in accordance with Association of Pet Dog Trainers code of practise.

All classes running in August except 1.30pm Train and Maintain on Thursday 20th and 27th August and Friday advanced Train and Maintain on 21st and 28th August and NO classes Bank Holiday Monday 31st August.

The new barn has hit delays! All classes still held in old barn and meadow through August and September. New proposed official opening date early October with some classes starting in the new barn and much bigger play meadow across the road from late September - barn is insulated so warm in the winter we hope!!

Next Outdoor Recall class is on Saturday 10th October in new fields across the road but check website in September in case we can get one more recall session in at old field.

Next Puppy agility is on Saturday 29th August. See below for eligibility details.

Gundog classes are at 6.45pm and run fortnightly - next gundog is on 24th August. Monday evening Train and Maintain classes are at 6.45pm and run fortnightly with next class on Monday 14th September.

Saturday class times - Pup Agility and Outdoor Recall start at 1pm.

Regular Agility classes for dogs over one year old move to Summer times from 14th April (Tuesday evenings at 6.45pm start on 14th April in addition to Monday daytime and Saturday daytime).
These are for anyone who has completed two workshops at funfordogs - see below for dates of upcoming workshops.

Next sets of Agility workshops will be held on 19th September and 3rd October for any new agility dogs over a year old who are fit, healthy and comfortable around other dogs. Once you have completed two workshops you can join regular weekly classes.

Puppy Behaviour and Development Classes held at Avon Lodge Veterinary Centre, Stratford Road, Salisbury, Hampton Park Veterinary Centre, Sycamore Drive, Bishopdown Farm, Salisbury and Stonehenge Vets, Larkhill Road, Durrington are for young pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks old, usually one week after first vaccination

Pup agility now running throughout the year on last Saturday in each month at 1pm.
Dogs aged six months to a year old. No jumping, but we will be teaching coordination, focus and flexibility as well as having fun with tunnels, tyres and planks.

Puppy Good Manners classes are held at Wagalot Barn, Pitton for young pups between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old. New courses starting regularly on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Pups older than 20 weeks can join a Beginner Basics course instead.

New courses starting in late September for dealing with over reactive dogs.

Our Wag And Tone e-book is all about exercises you can do with your dog, with or without music. Its aimed at any level of fitness of dog and owner and its suitable for individuals or training instructors too.

Classes and workshops are held at funfordogs training centre at Wagalot Barn, Stockbottom Farm, Pitton SP5 1SU (just 5 miles north of Salisbury with easy access from A30)
